Do you know your home's history? Who built it? Who lived there?

House History 4

We can help you dig into your home's history

Maybe you want to discover your own home history or something for a friend. Sometimes, it's easy and other times it's pretty difficult. You can research on your own, of course, in our facility and others, but we also offer a service that will handle the work for you, starting at $250!

This is a perfect gift idea for someone who has everything or for those who don't have the time to do the research on their own.

We can get things started for you.

Hey researchers — the Journal of Erie Studies 1972 to 1976 is now online

Journal of Erie Studies

Great news! The Journal of Erie Studies is online!

Our friends at Penn State University Press have created a digital version of our Journal of Erie Studies, published from 1972 to 2019. It was first published as a collaboration between the Erie County Historical Society, Mercyhurst University and later the Jefferson Educational Society.

A rebranded publication is currently in the works and will premiere in the coming months. The volumes from 1972 to 1976 are available now, and other volumes will be added until the archive is complete. This service is available thanks to the generosity of Penn State Libraries Open Publishing.
