French Historian Tours General Lafayette’s Route

On Saturday and Sunday 8/9 and 9/9 French graduate student and historian Julien Icher visited Erie to visit sites visited by General Lafayette during his 1825 farewell tour visit to America. Executive Director George Deutsch toured Icher around locations in Erie and on Monday 9/10. ECHS Museum Educator Jeff Sherry and Icher toured locations in downtown Meadville and Allegheny College.
