Eric Pesta
Digital Archivist
Eric joined the staff of the Hagen History Center in August of 2023. He is super excited to be able to utilize his various educational and life experiences as the Digital Archivist for the museum.
A native of Youngstown, Ohio, Eric has called a number of places home, including Phoenix, AZ, Washington, D.C., Columbus, OH, and since 2018, Erie, PA. He has earned a B.A. in Anthropology from Youngstown State University and proceeded to work as an Archaeologist in the American Southwest for a number of years. Additionally, Eric has a B.S. in Information Technology, and a Master's degree in Library and Information Science, with a concentration in archival studies.
With his family, he loves to travel and discover new places and cultures. In addition to literally and figuratively digging through the past, Eric loves outdoor adventures such as hiking and biking and has nearly 20 years of competitive rowing experience. Eric is also a self-described geek and has impressive collections of comic books, PEZ, and LEGO.
Eric and his wife Pam, the most amazing rock-star woman on Earth, have two adult children.
