We do the research for you, and it starts at $250.

Historic Property and Land Research Program

Services and pricing for Commercial Properties will be discussed before the project starts.

$250 - Basic:

Title search. Establishing the years of ownership, year built, type of home, property description, purchase, and sales price. If the client has a Title Search completed during a purchase within the past 5 years, Levels 1-4 will be discounted $250.

$500 - Plus Level 1:

Basic history of the family who owned the home. Obituaries printed news articles while residence, vital events - marriages, children's birth, schools attended, deaths, etc.

$1,000 - Plus Level 2:

A full title search of the property as far back as traceable to the beginning of Erie County, with a biographical overview of the families who owned the property. Description of the development of the neighborhood and context of the community history as it relates to involvement by those who were the property owners.

$5,000 - Plus Level 3:

Expanded family history of the families of the property owners and their involvement in the community, organizations, and Institutions. Description of the Architectural elements of the property May include input from other experts, such as Jeff Kidder.

$10,000 - Plus Level 4:

Full family history of the families of the property owners. Where they came from, when they immigrated to America, and American roots with connections to other possible families.
